Silvia Bracci

Short Biography

I graduated from high school in 2018 with a scientific diploma and a grade of 100 Cum Laude. In 2021 I obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a grade of 110/110 Cum Laude with a thesis on “Synthesis of fluorescent probes decorated with sialic acid and galactose”, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Cicchi. In 2023 I obtained the Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences (Organic Chemistry curriculum) with a grade of 110/110 Cum Laude with a thesis on “Optimization of the critical steps in the total synthesis of ester insulin via Native Chemical Ligation as a putative prodrug”, under the supervision of Prof. Anna Maria Papini. Recently, I won a PhD student position at the University of Florence working on the "Development of diagnostic technologies based on modified synthetic peptides to reveal and characterize autoantibodies as immune response biomarkers".
