New melanogenesis-modulator peptides for dermocosmetic applications
Melanogenesis, a process regulated by various factors, influences skin and hair pigmentation. Current treatments for pigmentation disorders face limitations such as bioavailability and cytotoxicity.
This project aims to develop and evaluate novel peptides that can regulate melanogenesis, focusing on high efficacy and safety.
By investigating new cosmeceutical peptides, the goal is to create effective treatments for pigmentation disorders, addressing significant needs in both medical and cosmetic fields, with improved stability, skin permeability, and reduced cytotoxicity in comparison with melanogenesis regulators already described in literature.
