A new cosmetic product based on a peptide deveoped in PeptLab has been launched on the market!

Definisse [KP1]* Collagen modulator bio-peptide, is the new line of products containing the exclusive collagen modulator peptide Key Peptide One [KP1]*.     

As explained by Paolo Rovero, full professor of farmaceutical chemistry, School of Human Health Science of the University of Florence, and expert of peptide chemistry, "the serine protease is one of the enzymes responsible of collagen degradation. Peptide KP1, which is the result of research conducted for more than 10 years ath the University of Florence - he continues- is a derivative of Serpin A1, the physiological inhibitor of that serin protease. Our research demonstrated that KP1 helps in increasing the levels of skin collagen, protecting it from degradation”
